If I remember correctly, he had a difference of opinion with a Broadcasting Authority executive and was involved in a punch-up in the old Broadcasting Authority offices above the car showroom in Blata-l-Bajda.

I don’t think I am goung to persuade anyone with my comments because I am sure that the station owners will be mesmerised by the fact that they will be going on a common digital platfiorm.without having to go through the expense of having to create a digital base of their own. The danger that I see is that because TVM is under Government and ministerial control, anyone placing a channel on that plaform, will automatically be subject to Giovernment attention if not control. It’s not just the programmes , which station owners may consider to be unassailable. It is, indeed teh entire facility that will be at risk. . Does the Opposition really want this? Is an election over the horizon not reason enough for the LP TV Station to take extreme care and not to place itself so close to imminent danger?
