The damning irony of it all is that the government is enticing foreigners to become Maltese whilst inadvertently encouraging many Maltese to be embarrassed of their own nationality. How pathetic is that.

When on holiday and asked ‘Where are you from?’, think again.

In 2004 all of us obtained European citizenship which opened up a new world of alternatives and opportunities. We voted for it and we were not asked to pay one cent. Muscat opposed this with all his heart and efforts.

In 2014 all of us risk losing our European citizenship because of greed and cowboyism. Not one Maltese voted for this scheme, and the majority are clearly against this scheme. But the Fuhrer decides otherwise.

Arrogant and mealy-mouthed with no sense of what being a prime minister entails.

In fact, Labour doesn’t want to work at all. It wants to sit on its ass all day and let the money roll in from somewhere, and it sure doesn’t matter to them where that money will come from.

Isn’t that why they have gone for this scheme, because it means they will make money without making an effort?

Considering that all the South Local Councils are controlled by Labour, appointing a new Consultative Council for the South of Malta, can be interpreted only that the Labour government is not happy with the way these Councils are being managed, in other words Prime Minister Joe Muscat lost his trust in all the South Local Council Mayors.

Meanwhile Josanne Cassar is appalled by the fact that the Maltese have taken up every comment board to vent their disagreements – because disagreement has now become squabbling.

Look at the comments, they are mostly Maltese people squabbling among themselves and making it about the party they vote for. They have turned the Telegraph into the timesofmalta.com
