I remember when she was campaigning for the E.U. parliament, she visited a dog shelter, with all the pomp, high heels, full blown make-up, cameras etc.

She specifically hand-picked the few pedigree dogs to take pictures with, rather than the unfortunate mongrels, who would probably never have the chance for a home.

A true animal-lover indeed.

This woman is an MEP, for heaven’s sake. She is an elected official who doesn’t know her Facebook followers and doesn’t care about them. I wouldn’t even comment on my Ritienne’s Facebook photos.
