Yes. The certificates were issued by Michael Scholten whi is based in Mettlach, Germany, and is affiliated with His Place, an outfit run by Wayne and Irene Negrini, associates of Dalli’s client, Mary Swann/ Nina Petros/ Eloisa Chihan/Maling Wan Suzara/etc.

So John Dalli has now replied to Kessler’s rhetorical question asking why he attacks everyone except Silvio Zammit, who sullied his sparkling reputation.

And in his answer Dalli actually reinforces Kessler’s point, as he attacks everyone except for Zammit.

He wanted to intervene in the case, he tells us, not to make sure Zammit gets what’s coming to him, but to question Kessler, Rizzo and others.

The Qormi bumpkin thinks he’s very intelligent and crafty but ends up making an even bigger fool of himself with discerning readers.

“As to why he had not opted to be a civil party in the Silvio Zammit case, Mr Dalli said he had asked his lawyer many times for a chance to be involved in the judicial proceedings but his advice always was that the court would never accept it. “I would have had the opportunity to question Rizzo, Kessler and the Swedish Match/ESTOC employees who are afraid to take the stand in Malta,2 Mr Dalli said.”

Could I say “mad – stark, raving, mad”?

I would think that the sooner Dalli gets out of sight and out of our collective memory, the better it will be for him.

The ‘prison term’ in Brussels seems to be the ugliest and most insidious period of Dalli’s political career.

Unfortunately this period has eclipsed the good work he did as Finance Minister in Dr Fenech Adami’s cabinet.

I would say let us remember the poor man for that – and let him stop, once and for all, with his moaning and whining about the perceived ‘injustices’ dealt him at OLAF’s hand.
