Anyone with his ethics intact, especially in John Attard Montalto’s case, would not ever have joined the Labour Party, and certainly not have stayed with it.

John Attard Montalto was simply another quality of opportunist.

Just as with Manwel Mallia, how can that actually happen? Doesn’t the gravity of their actions override any other tenable position within this government?

It was an early retirement package, nothing to do with leaving the bank to ‘serve the nation’. Others got an early retirement package too. His just happened to be a whole lot better.

The prime minister should resign. There are at least three reasons why he should:

1. Cafe Premier;

2. the power station whichwas supposed to be finished by March 2015;

3. the Gaffarena case for which he was the minister directly responsible.

I don’t think I ever saw Cafe Premier Muscat looking so naked and so weak before today. His usual nastiness could not save him on this occasion.
