He’s dying. They say we are all slowly dying as we go about our daily lives, but I wonder how many years all this increasing and never-ending stress must be carving away. It’s sad when you think he has two young children he ought to be enjoying instead of putting himself and his family through all this, aided and abetted by his wife.

This is a Faustian tragedy unfolding before our very eyes, and for once I find myself feeling sorry for the money-blinded fool.
