I have a feeling that it was all staged. Joseph Muscat wanted to find an excuse to get rid of and escape from the Italian journalist.

Of course they do, but since this is not palatable to them they lie in the most outrageous way. It is up to the Opposition, and smart journalists, to point this out.

If the crew hadn’t turned up, the protester would still be sitting out there, rain or shine, ignored by Snow White Muscat and his communication dwarves.

I happen to work in an environment with HUNDREDS of low paid, semi literate/skilled workers, whose only concerns are girl friends/boy friends, hunting, gym, part time jobs, cars, tattoos, piercing, and hairstyles.

They hardly give a hoot about politics and don’t know what’s happening around them. In other circles which I frequent, nobody ever brought up the subject.

Muscat’s red herring did not gain momentum.

But you are right, that Muscat grabs every opportunity to entrap Busuttil.

Busuttill pulled the rug from under Muscat’s feet when he said he is in favour of the vote for 16 year olds. I think that was a necessary move, because if he said he is against, be sure that Muscat would have introduced the vote for 16 year olds while telling them that Busuttil is against this “right” which he gave them.

Never make the mistake of thinking that the views of those around you are shared by others.

Aside from those to whom the morning after pill is important (a small number), there are those who think it is antiquated to bicker over it and try to prevent people having access to it (a large number).

From where I stand, ithis debate is just a storm in a teacup and another of Muscat’s red herrings which you fell for.
