What on earth are they wearing? It looks like they used some fake fur left over from a costume at a school show and then, halfway through, realized they didn’t have enough so ran out and got some fake white fur (all they could find – the purple was out of stock) and finished off the coats.

It looks dreadful. I feel so embarrassed for those poor girls.

On the contrary – privileged children need school, discipline, grounding and a proper education more than anyone else, because if they don’t get that, the chances are that they will make a mess of their lives.

That’s why the children of the privileged classes traditionally had the toughest discipline and the most brutal boarding-school conditions.
