It’s not fear but bewilderment. Those sorts of Maltese men are totally out of their depth when faced with women like me because we are outside their experience completely. They saw nothing like it while they were growing up with their poxy-island stereotypes, so they react with confusion, anger and then viciousness. Look at how Marlene Farrugia gets their goat.

One of the most common insults they have been chucking my way for the last 25 years is: “Dik qisa ragel.” Because men dominate public life and all forums in Malta and women sit back and have no opinions.

You must have experienced some really awful events to be able to muster the motivation to do this everyday. Heracles would have been in a corner weeping by now.

Seems the Prime Minister’s chief of staff has a prescription for the Happy Pill. Good for him, because I dare say he needs it.

He did say one word of truth i.e. he’s working for the creation of more wealth. Yes, we all know that now, thanks to Daphne.

I must give him a word of warning. If you are trusting on man’s justice, I suggest you don’t hold your breath – see what came out of the “investigation” about the Gozo drug case.

However, if you are referring to a Higher Justice, be assured that it will not be denied you and all those families who are in need and whose bread is being stolen from under their noses by a criminal gang here on earth.
