In reply to PETER MALLIA. Changes to inheritance tax are irrelevant to Keith Schembri because his assets are undeclared and hidden in British Virgin Islands and Panama companies (and New Zealand trusts). You can't declare for inheritance tax what you haven't declared to the authorities already.

Some wild brain storming and speculation while talking with friends: Finance Minister’s move to lower inheritance tax for one year – very very very strange move, and the absence of Keith Schembri on the scene following your health reports. Maybe something to investigate.

Definitely not – May will win by a landslide majority; Muscat will probably (hopefully) lose. At this rate he will anyway. The only common factor is that both elections will be held in June.

In reply to Edgar Rossignaud. Thankfully, the Electoral Commission is bound by the Constitution to suspend the election at once if it has reasonable grounds that illegal or corrupt practices have occurred.

Just a thought, maybe PL finances were invested in Pilatus Bank in a secretive manner, something quite possible if the same Tonna and friends are the auditors/consultants of the party. Just making my grey cells work.

In any decent country, considering that documents can be destroyed, scans are taken into consideration and investigations have been demanded for much less than this, but I have to remember that the Captain at the Guardia di Finanza does not tarry in his duties just to go eat his fenkata.

When I first saw this iconic photo , I couldn’t help noticing that it was only part of the picture which would be more complete if there were the Chinese flag on the other side of the ‘knot’ , and the Vitals logo in the middle .

Perhaps it is the last two that we should concentrate on now after Azerbaijan .

My greatest fear is that the election will be fraudulent and everything to make that a reality is in place, including thousands of votes from shady people who bought Maltese passports and citizenship, double entry voting documents, etc. and a snap election will not give the Nationalist Party enough time to uncover the fraud.
