London and Switzerland are even worse than Luxembourg. But not one of their ministers or PEPs was caught setting up anything remotely similar to the money-laudering structures set up by Malta’s brazen triad.

How on earth do you expect the European Commission to investigate? Its President, for 24 whole years starting in 1989, has done nothing else in his own country but exactly that which you are objecting to.

He established his country as the Panama of the EU. Investigate, my foot. I am sure you have been to Luxembourg several times like I have. There is nothing there but suspect and fake banks, financial shady set-ups and letterbox companies.

And lots of huge pigs on farms, may I add. Real piggies, I mean, not the Malta government species. The white wines from the Moselle are also not to be discounted.

Names?

Pointing fingers at the Police is no excuse, when everyone knows the sorry state of the force.

I’m very disappointed, to put it mildly, with the Attorney General and the FIAU council, in what eventually may possibly be considered as omerta if not also tacit complicity.

It undermines the reputation of Malta’s financial centre, as well as that of the Eurozone.

The European Commission and the European Central Bank should investigate urgently.

One such person is listed as a specialist at SOCAR and is listed as being responsible for the execution of trades and payments and the control of cash payments.

He is the sole director and legal and judicial representative of two companies registered in Malta through Nexia BT on 16 August 2016 and having their registered address at Nexia’s offices.

The shareholders of these two companies are from Azerbaijan.

I am also quite surprised that they don’t seem to be visiting Electrogas Malta and the new power station in which they are shareholders.
