I don’t live in Malta but I look at the electronic versions of the Maltese papers daily. I am always amazed how tame the Maltese press is. They just sit on their arse and wait for statements from the government and the Opposition or for you to find something.

They never go after the politicians themselves or analyse their motives After the famous debate on TVM there was a long article in The Malta Independent about the different styles of the two politicians as if it were a debate in a debating society while we are talking about huge corruption permeating the government.

The Times of Malta is worse, it always comes up with some inane heading when it should be concentrating on one of the worst crises in the country.

Unfortunately the crooks will get reelected. This is a country with a Middle East mindset that happens to be geographically located at the fringes of Europe.

European culture and European mindset are not mainstream in Malta. Just look at the thousands of people defending corruption, money laundering, and criminal behaviour on Facebook and the newspapers’ comments sections.

Many of us passed through the horrible Mintoff and KMB years and there is no way we will tolerate a continuation by Labour of dragging our country further into disgrace and bringing back those nightmare years.

Beware Muscat and all your close associates, you have already crossed the red line. Push us any further and we will hold you responsible for the evil you have created in our country, and this time it will be action and not just words.
