In reply to quickmick408. Yes, but that is really outside the control of the authorities. Unfortunately ignorance is present and will continue to be. In the meantime other country introduce subjects like Civic Studies which tries to get students to think about their civic duties and how to integrate within society. I f you go to Nordic countries like Germany and try to buy without VAT, the answer will be a definite no. Because they want to contribute to society. They know that such a contribution will make their lives better. Something which in malta is inconceivable to think. A weird lot we are!

In reply to PB. Wholeheartedly agree, they do however prevail on party policies and do their utmost to ensure their outdated ideas and operating structures are adhered to, any kind of independence will be smothered at birth.

I am not sure that the majority of Labour supporters are old. Unfortunately the educational system has let us down big time. Both primary and secondary education failed to deliver to the Maltese citizen the basic difference between finances and values.

I agree to “stayed the same all along”. It can’t go back to a state it never left, despite their success in convincing many that they had.
