Another 150 people were put on the state payroll yesterday at WasteServ and the Ministry of Health. Read about it (in Maltese) in Newsbook.
For this permanent burdening of the public sector payroll bill alone, Muscat and his crooks should be kicked to kingdom come. While they rush off with their Panama millions, the rest of us are left with the tax burden and the private sector job market problems caused by their gross, vote-buying irresponsibility.
I can tell them one thing: it didn’t work for Prime Minister KMB in 1987, when he put EIGHT THOUSAND people on the state payroll in the run-up to the general election. He still lost it.
Three decades on and the Labour Party is back to what it was. Or maybe it stayed the same all along, because – except for Sant’s miserable 22 months in government – since 1987 we have not had the chance to find out. It seems unbelievable when you see it in black on white like this. But think about it: it’s true. Since 1987, the only chance we have had to re-experience Labour in government, aside from Sant and his 22 months, are “Keith and Joseph’s” four years.
Bloody disgusting: three decades to reform themselves and all they did instead was become even more of a criminal outfit.
