This is more serious than it looks. The deputy registrar was privy to everything going on during this inquiry. We have a situation where the outcome of this inquiry is being taken for granted irrespective of what has been given as evidence.

The process is now vitiated more than ever. The Whistle-blower Act is useless if both the Attorney General and the Police Commissioner will not offer whistle-blower status to persons who come forward with evidence of an incriminating nature at great personal risk.

A magisterial inquiry cannot be published for the same reasons that a police investigation cannot be published: the evidence and the witnesses would be compromised.
