I have to disagree with you. There are thousands of graduates, many of them achieving their aim because “dawk il-kattivi Nazzjonalisti” made it possible by providing free tuition + a stipend, if you wanted to further your studies.

To these corruption-loving people – I don’t know of any other country that provides the same conditions as our university.

“Sewwa kien jghid Mintoff li l-lawrija tiswa daqs karta ta’ lincova!” Q.E.D.

And let’s not forget also that it was the PN who made secondary education compulsory. Again I come in contact with people whose level of attainment was only up to primary level – yet they have much better reasoning powers and live by a higher set of values than the former.
