With hindsight the decision to open the leadership election up to paid-up party members was a mistake. It is only helping to divide the Nationalist Party further and giving voice to those who have no clue who the hardworking people in the party really are.

There are already manouevres for the creation of a splinter group from the Nationalist Party, made up of people who have been thoroughly alienated already by Delia and his mob, should he be elected leader. Indeed, the end is nigh for the PN. Only Chris Said can unite the party.

Which one of the four is?

This issue of holding the data relating to the sectional committees tight and secretive, has been an issue, and has always been a ‘negotiation/threatening’ tool used by various secretaries-general, and assistant secretaries-general.

It is a perennial issue that needs to be addressed for the Nationalist Party to get out of the current mess. The problem existed in the era of Eddie Fenech Adami, but was partially addressed back then thanks to his sense of discipline. After then, it got out of control.

The data belongs to the party and not to individuals for their personal gain.
