I did tell you that he tried the same kind of gaslighting and circular, bullying talk with me and found out that I can shout louder and am not averse to telling people where to stuff it when they overstep the mark. He was particularly pissed off when I said to him, as he came at me with a wall of gaslighting circular talk in that bullying voice: “If this is how you treat your wife, no wonder you managed to bully her into doing something as crazy and stupid as giving you her full power of attorney.”

I wouldn’t have done that on camera, of course, but I would certainly have put the man in his place.

For me, the moment in that interview yesterday came when David Thake asked him about the one million euros in his Barclays International account and Delia said that he doesn’t recall anything about them. How can you not remember, Thake asked. I would remember.

And Delia replied, sneering, “Maybe one million euros is a lot for you, but it isn’t a lot for me.” Thank you for reminding me that I should write a post about that.

I am baffled by Delia’s obstinacy. Confronted with all the revelations, he pushes on, against all rational reasoning, making it so very obvious that he wants this position at all costs.

I can’t stop myself from trying to figure out what and who is behind it all, because at this stagemnothing convinces me that Delia has the Nationalist Party’s interests at heart.

In reply to Angela Galea. Adrian Delia comes from a family of Laburisti. When people like that end up voting Nationalist for 'political fan' reasons rather than out of genuine ideology, it also shows in the end. Their Laburist mental and behavioural roots emerge under pressure.
