In reply to Xkamun. He probably came up in a casual election - or if he did not, the others on the ballot sheet were persuaded not to put in their nomination and so there was no casual election.

Simon Busuttil remains Opposition leader, unless a request is made to the President for permission to have him replaced by another Nationalist MP. And then the Nationalist MPs have to decide between them who will be Opposition leader, but it can’t be Delia unless he works out how to get a seat.
