This government persecutes single mothers to give the money to its freeloading friends who don’t need it
Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, who with the blessing of prime minister Muscat forced out the MCST’s CEO, took his salary and allowances but refuses to do his job, instead turning up at the office randomly on Wednesdays while practising as a dentist the rest of the time.
Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, a free-loading bum if ever there was one, makes an absolute fortune from pulling teeth in his village clinic and botoxing faces as a sideline.
He makes so much money that he puts it in land, as with the land he bought at Mistra.
Yet that has not stopped the government giving him around 60,000 euros a year to go the office at the Malta Council for Science and Technology just one day a week, on Wednesdays, and not the full day at that.
“My package is identical to that of Nicholas Sammut, who was here before me,” the liar and fraud has told The Sunday Times.
What he doesn’t say – and this bit is not in The Sunday Times – is that Nicholas Sammut was the council’s CEO – in other words, the full-timer who was there every day, ran the show and was paid accordingly – while he was the chairman who popped in and out and perhaps turned up on Wednesdays, receiving a chairman’s stipend rather than a full-time salary.
When the Labour Party was elected to government, Pullicino Orlando made Nicholas Sammut’s life a misery (Sammut is young enough to be his son and a quiet personality). He went after him viciously as only he knows how, and forced him out. He then took over Sammut’s CEO post, salary and allowances – but not his working hours or responsibilities – while retaining his own original role as chairman.
So now Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando had made himself, with the full approval of Joseph Muscat – the MCST chairman reports directly to the prime minister – chairman and CEO while taking Nicholas Sammut’s salary and allowances but never turning up to the office except sporadically on Wednesday. This means that the Malta Council for Science and Technology, a important state council, is left without direction while the salary and allowances that are meant for a chief executive officer are embezzled by a dentist who spends the week in his village clinic.
Meanwhile, I have had reports that government agencies are hunting down vulnerable single mothers who receive social security cheques and threatening to force their way into their homes with the support of the police to see if there are signs that they are living with a man, in which case they will be charged for fraud and made to return their social security money.
They want the single mothers’ money so that they can give it to Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando for not working while preventing the Malta Council for Science and Technology from appointing a real and fit-for-purpose chief executive officer.
Joseph Muscat and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando – two corrupt men with the same mindset. We all know why Pullicino Orlando is being allowed to burgle the Malta Council for Science and Technology with the prime minister’s blessing. That is corruption.
