This is the most hilarious email I have received

This is from a member of parliament. Some background: the new parliament has television cameras installed and debates are transmitted live on Parliament TV, via the parliament website.

Dear Daphne,

There is something you should know about the Speaker. Television cameras in Parliament are automatically activated once you are given the floor and press the “speak button”.

But Mr Speaker has found a way to get himself on Parliament TV while an MP is speaking. He frequently presses his own ‘speak button’ and the TV camera automatically diverts from the MP who is speaking and homes in on the Speaker instead.

In this way Anglu Farrugia ensures that his face appears on television even when a member of parliament is addressing the house. He is pathetic, to say the least.
