Anything for a bit of attention: now Mrs Muscat is going to swim the channel

I don’t know about you, but I didn’t have her down as a long-distance swimmer – more as one of those women who get into the water and then swim on the spot while nattering to each other.

I have to say we’d all be a lot more impressed if her husband swam with her – or, more to the point, swam it alone, Vladimir-Putin fashion.
