Corrupt police inspector Daniel Zammit and his borrowed Ferrari
I love the readers of this website.
Within minutes of my uploading details of the red Ferrari, borrowed from a Sicilian called Francesco Airo, in which corrupt Police Inspector Daniel Zammit of the Economic Crimes Unit used to drive around habitually, I received this photograph of the car with the email below.

Dear Daphne,
I’m writing with reference to your last blog post. I used to see this Ferrari parked in Ibrag, the road corner with Mercato supermarket.
The number plate is only attached at the back but it immediately rang a bell when I saw it in the post.
I always wondered what plate it is and was baffled at how this Ferrari was always parked in the road, rain or shine.
You’d think that if one can afford such a car, garaging it is the obvious thing to do.
