The MV Feyza Genc slipped out of Malta a week ago despite a court injunction preventing its departure because it owes Cassar Fuel Ltd €42,415.

Transport Malta is the state organisation obliged at law to execute all such court orders, so Cassar Fuels is now holding Transport Malta responsible.

This is the third time a ship has got away under the Taghna Lkoll version of Transport Malta. The MV Atlantik slipped away at night in April last year when the army and Transport Malta were busy looking the other way. It owed €900,000.

The MV Madra got away last August, leaving behind an unpaid bills of €220,000, including sums owed to Cassar Fuel.
