Mark Gaffarena uploads photos of stay at the Hotel Atlantis the Palm in Dubai

Some people just can’t resist giving themselves away, can they? Do they do it on purpose, or what. Mark Gaffarena has just uploaded a tranche of photographs taken in Dubai, where he has been staying with his wife and children.

I thought to myself, well, it’s probably just a coincidence, given that places like Dubai are the destination of choice for #corruptmaltesehamallitalflus. But then I knew something would give them away, and I ploughed through the rest of the tedious pictures until – bingo – there before me lay one of them featuring Mrs Mark Gaffarena, Josielle, standing outside what is clearly a part of the Hotel Atlantis the Palm’s distinctive architecture.

That is where is the Prime Minister, Mrs Muscat and their children are staying for Easter. They were spotted there earlier this week. The cheapest rate at this hotel is 1,340 euros per room-night.

Isn’t it fascinating? It must be the most incredible coincidence that the Prime Minister and his family have chosen the same tremendously pricey hotel in Dubai for the Easter holidays as that chosen by corrupt fixer Mark Gaffarena and his family, when the Prime Minister is supposed to be suing Gaffarena to get back the public’s property, which he so kindly gave him earlier.

Of course, Mark and Josielle Gaffarena may have stayed at that hotel at some other point and uploaded the photographs only now specifically to create problems, but that too would be interesting.
