So it’s the Hotel Kempinski in Gozo for the weekend

Yesterday the Prime Minister and Mrs Muscat were spotted dining at the not-quite-modest Ta’ Frenc restaurant in Gozo. Just now, Mrs Muscat and her twins are parading around at the Hotel Kempinski – hotel of choice, along with the Hotel Ta’ Cenc – of the Taghna Lkoll in-crowd of rabidly aspirational Labour Johnnies.

Her husband the Prime Minister has just emerged from the lift and they’re staying in Room 423.

Because you know how it is: when the whole of Malta is talking about illegal stashes in Panama, the smartest thing to do is to go out and throw money around. Or look like you do, because I somehow doubt those Muscats pay for anything.

Throwing money around like there’s no tomorrow.
