The Winning Team

In an earlier post, I reported that Foreign Minister George Vella, Agriculture Parliamentary Secretary Roderick Galdes, and former Labour Party deputy leader Toni Abela arrived at Brussels airport yesterday evening in an expensive chauffeured car that was not an embassy vehicle, and that they used pricey VIP services to check themselves through. I also reported that the Finance Minister, who was on the same flight, went through the normal channels along with everyone else and with the permanent secretary at the Finance Ministry.

Now I can report that the Finance Minister sat in economy class, while the Foreign Minister, the Agriculture Parliamentary Secretary and the former Labour deputy leader sat together in club class, and that the Finance Minister barged straight through without even looking at them, let alone greeting them.
