South American news portal says John Dalli is after Gaddafi millions/suggests ‘hijack’ was anything but

The South American news portal El Ojo Digital is now running a big story on Malta, called ‘Malta: Sordid Back Door to the Schengen Area’. It is in Spanish, but you can read it in English via Google Translate over here.

It says that disgraced European Commissioner John Dalli is among those who are trying to lay claim to some of Gaddafi’s many millions deposited in banks which include the Bank of Valletta. It describes the historic relationship between Muammar Gaddafi and the Malta Labour Party, and goes into detail about why last week’s ‘hijack’ couldn’t have possibly been one, and suggests that it may have been used to smuggle something into Malta that couldn’t have entered by the normal routes.
