Michelle Obama is keen on hugging. She broke protocol by hugging Queen Elizabeth II. At the opening reception for the G20 summit in Pittsburgh, she hugged and kissed Gordon Brown (he got a real smoochie), Sarkozy, Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and Angela Merkel. But when it came time to greet Silvio Berlusconi, she held her right arm out like the proverbial bargepole.
Smart woman.

Looking closely at his expression, I am sure that he must have said. ”Che FICA, ragazzi”
Iktar qisu qed jghid ‘X’par ghandek!’
He looks like he’s about to cry. “Perche Io???”
And her hubby’s look?
And you can nearly hear Obama say to Berlusconi “… and I can imagine what you’re thinking, you filthy old man”
I guess when you’re filthy rich you can afford to put your foot in it time after time after time.

Heard on a German Radio Station (SWR3)
Backgroud music from The Godfather (think it is called the Sicilian Pastorale, but may be wrong)
Report (delivered by the anchorwoman who didn’t even try to keep the glee out of her voice): Silvio Berlusconi has lost his immunity from prosecution.
And they say that Germans don’t have a sense of humour.
