I’m going to have to change my name. I disassociate myself from the above comments.
I am not the Joe Camilleri referred to above.
Try “Peppi”.
He can’t do Cana courses given he imports Durex.
Hmm, perhaps family planning/sex therapist is appropriate. He has lots of experience – and it would help his business.
Tomorrow there’s going to be ‘L-Ghanja tal-Poplu’ at the Phoenicia Ballroom – it will be in aid of the Richmond Foundation. Ten euro per head for some good genuine original Maltese songs.
“Rega qabad it-triq it-tajba”, because he was twiddling a rosary ring in court and because he had priests giving us his good side? Don’t make me laugh. He erred so he’s got to pay and wow what a way, I wonder if his “cell” will have fitted carpets, a/c and satellite TV as well? Wonder what he can do for society…. maybe explaining how to use condoms.
Malta’s parliamentarians really need to upgrade some outdated laws. Instead of the opposition gloating and seemingly blaming government for everything that goes wrong, it would do well to push its own parliamentarians to press for an update in laws.
I think you’ve all forgotten just how privileged Noel Arrigo is. His defence lawyer was originally George Abela. Now that he’s president of the republic, let’s hope he’s not the one who helped smooth his former client’s path to the mental hospital.
Let’s hope, too, that there are no president pardons in the offing.
What an inane remark. Clearly, you have no idea of how things work. Preferential treatment is wrong, of course, but to write that it may be coming from there is plain ignorance.
According to Andrew Borg-Cardona anyone who doubts the system is ‘inane’. Common people have good reason to seriously doubt ‘how things work’ in our country. Approaching a judge and bribing him is something which really happened……not once but twice. We reached the limit.
The whole system should be reviewed, and made transparent, that includes presidential pardons. Rosa Luxemburg’s suspicions are not ill-founded. The system stinks from top to bottom.
Why not send him to do voluntary work at drug rehabilitation centres?

Former Chief Justice to stay at Mount Carmel until his condition stabilises
Former Chief Justice Noel Arrigo was sent to Mount Carmel Hospital by the doctor at the Corradino Correctional Facility yesterday after he was found to be suffering from a number of conditions.
The acting director of prison said in a statement that the senior houseman on duty at Mount Carmel confirmed the situation and ordered that Dr Arrigo should be kept under constant medical attention.
For this reason, he was temporarily being kept at Mount Carmel’s forensic section until he was certified to be in a stable condition by the hospital’s doctors.
The acting director said that Dr Arrigo was transported in a rented eight-seater van from the Courts to Corradino because one of the the facility’s vans was garaged for repairs.
The van was rented last Wednesday and it has carried about 40 prisoners.
The acting director noted that in previous occasion, Dr Arrigo had always been carried in the facility’s vans.

“A number of conditions”. This beats “tired and emotional” and “Ugandan discussions”, it does.
Pull the other one, Mr acting director of prisons, it’s got bells on.
“Hi, I went to Mount Carmel Hospital and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”
