Mad – quite, quite mad
On timesofmalta.com:
An envelope containing Lm5,000 in cash was presented in court by Police Inspector Pierre Calleja, who explained that the money had been taken to police headquarters by Fr Daniel Cordina.
Last week the trial was told that Dr Arrigo had presented money given to him in relation tot he case to the parish priest of Zebbug, who handed it to the police.
Isn’t that extraordinary? The parish priest knew what he should do with the money, but the chief justice did not. It’s too late for us to be told why the chief justice gave the money to the parish priest, instead of going to the police with it himself. Maybe it was his way of off-loading his guilt – getting rid of the dirty cash and indulging in confession, his second favourite hobby, but hoping the priest would keep secret where it came from. Or maybe he was just a bloody coward.

Just a slight correction re the surname of the parish priest of Haz-Zebbug… it is not Cordina, but Cardona. Just a difference of 2 vowels, but still…
That money is only convertible at the Central Bank of Malta.
Connecting the dots, are we? Hmm… conspiracy theory?
Perhaps he’s innocent and doesn’t know it…
Have you never gone to confess your magnitude of sins? If not I suggest you do it immediately. Try to find a good confessor and tell him of the ‘murders’ you make on a daily basis through gossiping. That is also murder, in fact it is called ‘character assasination’. (Fifth Commandment – Thou shalt not kill). But given that you hate God and catholics, it doesn’t work on you.
[Daphne – You know, I’ve always wondered why hatred, unhappiness and this sort of extreme ‘Catholicism’ go together.]
It can’t be called character assasination if their character have already committed suicide.
