Oh. My. God. Emmanuel Mallia 'gets his flirt on'
350 million Facebook users and I (through a screen shot sent to me via email) have just learned that Emmanuel Mallia – Labour’s ‘fresh new face’ – has found ‘somebody flirtworthy on Zoosk! Get your flirt on.’
He has actually found two flirtworthy people so far, and the news is marked out with little red hearts.
Zoosk is an application that Facebook users can sign up to. Applications are not provided by Facebook. Anyone can produce an application and make it available to Facebook users.
This particular one, Zoosk, allows users to look for ‘other people’ based on specific criteria e.g. their location, whether they’re worth flirting with.
The legal adviser to Labour’s Business Forum appears to have got carried away and tried out the ‘flirt’ function, without fully understanding that it would be reported on his Facebook ‘wall’, advertising his hunt for flirtworthy people to 350 million people the world over.
He used the same application to look for people in Valletta. Why didn’t he just go to Cordina’s for a coffee?

And this morning he was on Super One with John Bundy attacking your blog and repeating that he is not bothered at all by what is written about him, even though he looked VERY concerned and pissed off.
As expected dak il-laghqi ta’ John Bundy kompla mieghu.
[Daphne – Labour New Wave: nerds, losers and over-the-hill types who reproduce themselves in their dotage and flirt on Facebook. It’s not a political party. It’s a recycling bin.]
The obvious question: if he’s not bothered about what’s said about him, why did he say so?
If he is not bothered, then why is he wasting his precious time reading the blog?
What precious time? If it were precious, he wouldn’t waste it on Facebook.
What do you mean guys, why is HE reading the blog?
Read my lips: EVERYBODY is reading the blog.
No. That’s not true. Marie Benoit doesn’t. Nor does Josanne Cassar.
Well, he was snowing in London a few days ago so maybe he has a lot of time on his hands.
Marie Benoit is too busy sucking up to Marlene Mizzi and ‘subtly’ running down Daphne in her feature

It’s all a bit pointless, really. They work in different fields.
Two out of 350 million is not saying much is it?
But what we’d like to know is: how many people found Emmanuel Mallia flirtable?
Once you’re hooked up to that Zoosk, other users can check you out.
Like who needs the Goon Show. This is getting better and better by the minute.
Yep! Daphne’s probably beating Eastenders fan-base in Malta by far.
@La Redoute
You’re kidding us right? Take it from me, Marie Benoit is on this site three times a day. That means an bout of indigestion as many times a day.
No. I’m not kidding. I’m taking her at her word. She’s often said she doesn’t read this but people send her snippets so she feels she has to comment. Not one for going directly to the source, is she? It’s far better to rely on gossip.
@Tony Pace
I bet you Marie Benoit has this site as her home page.
And Marie Benoit’s page lines my pet’s box. I love it!
It appears to me that a lot of people have moved from Peppino’s straight to Facebook. Insomma, I bet you’re not one of Manuel’s flirtables, Daphne. Veru RIMBAMBITI!
