Bit of a tragi-comedy, isn’t it? One minute we’re laughing, the other crying.

Now she is exhibiting her liabilities in court.
One wonders what lies waiting in the in the suspense account. There must be many people on tenterhooks, lest they be implicated.
When such claims are made, the Court will have to examine the body of evidence.
This one?

Well said, Court Expert, and a very thorough examination too.
Usually there are more than one court expert appointed to examine the body of evidence and they need to probe deeply to try and extract the truth.
The magistrate was well known for appointing court experts who would probe deeply. One of them probed very deeply indeed, and is now living with her in Siggiewi – and probably wondering what happened.

IF!
From the statements reported in the media, it seems to me that the CAJ has not got to the bottom of the assets claims as yet.
They’ll never get to the bottom of this. It’s way too big.
…. as are the supporting pillars of the matter at hand. They’ll never get around those either.
Magistrat jew imhallef jista’ jaghmel negozzju?
@Riya,
Le, persuni fil-gudikatura huma ipprojbiti fil-Kodici tal-Etika milli jmexxu/jiehdu sehem/jindahlu b’xi mod f’negozju.
Imma mid-dehra din regola la taqa fuq widnejn torox, ghax il-Prim Arrigo kien agent (igib minn barra) ta’ ditta tal-kontracettivi.
8. Members of the Judiciary have every right to administer their personal assets and belongings in the manner most beneficial to them. However, they shall not engage in any activity that is in its very nature incompatible with the office they hold.
9.(b) Without prejudice to the first part of rule 8, members of the Judiciary shall not exercise any profession, business or trade.
That’s a quote from the judiciary’s code of ethics.
Imsieken dawk in-nies li ma’ jafux x’jista jigri fil-Qorti Maltija. Ghax hemm tahwid kibir.
U ghandi suspett li ghad hemm x’jitkixxef izjed.
Ghax Daphne fethet dan il-Blog u bis-sahha ta’ hekk qed niddiskutu, u nsaqsu lill-xulxin x’qed jigri biex forsi xi hadd jismaghna u tissewwa il-hsara li hemm fil qorti qed jallegaw li Daphne qed tigi sponsorjata minn xi hadd. Kemm hawn min hu malizjuz. Meta insibu persuna ta gazz ukoll nippruvaw inkissruha.
Jekk biex tnehhi Magistrat jew Imhallef trid 2/3 tal-kamra tad-Deputati il-Commission ghalfejn qeda hemm?
The Commission’s role is to investigate reports and intimations of wrongdoing. The Commission may then recommend impeachment. The final decision for impeachment is taken by parliament – not government.
Did the magistrate really exhibit her ‘assets to the Commission as well? Robert Musumeci should put a stop to this.
After a few days’ break right in the storm in Catalunya, this blog is what beats the post travel blues and those little frustrations best. May the force be with you D. And blog on.
Daphne, hon (hon is another favourite with Maltese chavs: haaaaaaan) thanks to your blog I have totally abandoned Facebook because I don’t have time for both. Keep it up … great work.
