Have you noticed that on those occasions when Muscat hasn’t brought Michelle out of the cupboard for the express purpose of parading her on stage, he seems to forget that she’s around and marches on without her?
In crowd photographs of public demonstrations she always seems to be tagging along behind, holding onto to his arm as though she’s afraid he might leave her behind because he’s forgotten that she’s there – while he heads off with the ugly chaps.
It’s not quite Lawrence-and-Kate, is it?

Funny you mention that. I thought the same thing while watching Net News this evening. There was a shot of Joseph Muscat (coming back from his non-state visit to France) walking ahead of his wife and completely ignoring her. She probably pissed him off on the plane telling him ‘Hemmhekk fejn hadtni? Lanqas haqq gibt il-libsa tal-fidda mieghi.’
