Marlene Business Forum, all serious and grown-up at 50-something and a Real Big Businesswoman and Labour leading light, has taken the discussion to her Facebook wall.
She took exception to Mario Debono tal-GRTU describing her shirt as a ‘blawz’. My God, it’s Karen Millen (ar’hemm, hej).
And as for Sharon’s scarf, Marlene Business Forum tells us that we know so little about fashion that we didn’t even realise that it’s FAKE!! (her capitals and exclamation marks). And Sharon is ‘persuna ohra’.

What is a Chav?
‘chav’ (slang) – a young person, often without a high level of education, who follows a particular fashion; Chavs usually wear designer labels including the chav favourite ‘Burberry’, and if they’re girls, very short skirts, large hoop earrings and stilettos.
I would like to know what is real in that photo.
So Sharon is wearing counterfeit clothes, then, according to the business forum. Does Marlene Mizzi mean that if it’s a fake Burberry it’s not chav? I would have thought that makes it even worse.
I’d have thought the Labour Business Forum would have a thing or two to say about the counterfeit industry, its cost to legitimate industry, and how the counterfeit industry uses child labour and finances illegitimate activities like terrorism.
Shouldn’t Marlene Business Forum be reporting fake and counterfeit goods? Fake goods are more often that not produced in sweat shops by child labour.

Years ago I was in Oxford Street and saw the newspaper headlines – “Eastenders – a wedding and all was plain sailing”
