An evil cow with wings (you know, like a sanitary pad)

Careful, or I'll douse you in yoghurt.

Careful, or I'll douse you in yoghurt.

The linguistic chaos over at Mlatasatr and tasteyourownmedicine is infecting even those Labour Party supporters who speak English as a first language, like the legendary James Tyrrell of County Antrim and Gozo (an RUC man who goes where the nasty Catholics are).

He’s tripping over the mixed metaphors, and has said of me now:

That evil cow must have her wings clipped.

Not just any old evil cow, but one with wings – just like a sanitary pad.

He probably meant crow – just lost an “r” along the way.

He probably tried to apply a female version to the “Red Bull gives you wings” advert:

The sick minds of Labour appear to be infectious. Antibiotics anyone? Readily available.

Is Mr. Tyrrell turning to cows now that the goat population is dwindling?

As long as he doesn’t do what one of his Gozitan neighbours did last Sunday and turn to 11-year-old boys….

The Times is little better. This is the latest gem……..

Pope on his way to Valletta
Pope Benedict has just left Malta International Airport in his Pope Mobil.

He is on his way to the Palace in Valletta where his security have walked in with the gift the Pope will be giving President George Abela.

The gift is a colourful mosaic interpretation of St Paul’s Shipwreck. It is in a wooden box with Del Presidente written on it. It comes accompanied and with an easel which is wrapped in bubble wrap.

President Abela is giving the Pope a painting, also of St Paul’s Shipwreck.

Members of the Neo Catechumenal Movement have in the meantime placed a large black and white banner saying “Cammino Neo Catecumenale” and with a colour picture of the mother and child around the Luqa roundabout partly hiding the phallic like structure which has made it to the international news in the past days.

The plan to put up the monument to hide the monument as the Pope is driven from the area.
