That's rich, coming from Forum Zghazagh Laburisti
Forum Zghazagh Laburisti forms part of the Front Against Censorship, a coalition of left-wing groups – or rather, a coalition of some left-wing groups like AD Zghazagh, Graffiti and Zminijietna and some conservative working-class groups like Forum Zghazagh Laburisti and GWU Youth.
The ‘front’ has (yawn) condemned the demands for removing the Luqa phallus, saying:
“This would be yet another obscene case of censorship, much in the same vein as the recent literature and theatre censorship cases.”
Well, that’s pretty rich coming from the FZL (and please don’t all chant out aloud what those letters stand for – because by some amazing coincidence they’re some pretty good obscenities and the first is Jose Herrera’s).
The internet gathering-places of Labour elves are thick with FZL people demanding that “somebody should stop the evil Bidnija witch”, that “if Gonzi doesn’t do it then somebody else has to”, that “somebody should shut her up” and other statements in that vein of which their grand-daddies would have been proud.
Their grand-daddies may not have been the ones who actually burned down The Times and sacked the homes and clubs of their opponents and critics but after all that happened, they went and voted Labour.
And they raised their children to believe that Labour is the greatest.
And you know what the funny thing is? They probably don’t realise they’re mirroring their forebears, because they weren’t even born then.
But they’re talking about somebody who remembers only too well.
So take it from me, you small-time losers: you’re just like nannu, and you don’t even know it.

You’re just like nannu? – I object!
Make that “you’re just like YOUR nannu”.
FZL, AD Zghazagh, Graffitti and Zminijietna…. birds of a feather flock together. What a bunch of losers.
So many ‘Z’s’–Ok Daphne, have to say it–are they all dick-heads?
Why is it that these young people are not able to enjoy their youth, instead of meddling in politics, thinking that they know better than the rest of us?
I see the culmination of this politically arrogant behaviour in the personality of Joseph Muscat, who, at 36 years of age, comes across as overly ambitious, imagining that he can run the country.
Then, when Daphne pulls down and apart their every move, including anything they call new, they call on the Prime Minister to shut down her blog. And while they blinked, Daphne made a swifter move, revealing how they thought it was important to defend a phallic monument from censorship.
The Labour Party really needs no enemies – it is its own worst enemy. And the new is worse than the old, since Labour now really has no principles.
