May Day! Somebody has a tie crisis.

Lots of people couldn’t concentrate on Joseph Muscat’s May Day speech yesterday (littered with the word ‘mittilkless’) because they were too distracted by his blinding shiny tie in three shades of very bright orange.
Here’s the culprit.
She giggles. “I choose his clothes cause he is not that good with colours,” she admits. “I even number them for him sometimes but we choose the ties together.”

While he was in Brussels, she must have given him the paint-by-numbers dress instructions via Skype.
‘ cause he is not that good with colours ‘. Please tell us what he’s good at because nobody seems to know.
He’s colour blind.
Not only colour blind – but blind to what is going on around him at party HQ.
He’s good at lying.
And man, he’s a whizz with that hair gel. The miracle of the loaves and fishes, but with follicles.
It’s fun to pick on the dress sense of our politicians. But apart from the fact that – to my mind – the most elegantly dressed politician Malta ever had would be Dr. Giorgio Borg Olivier, quite frankly I wouldn’t care what colour a politician’s tie is as long as his politics make sense. It is when you combine the tie colour with the politics that the it becomes relevant. Sordid…but true.
I see no tie crisis. I think Joseph is lagging far behind Lawrence.
That tie reminded me of il-Budget tal-Qawsalla
A mentality issue – so called showmanship and no substance whatsoever.
That’s a subliminal message to push the LGBT wotsit.
Gosh that brings back memories. Xandir Malta’s test card, 1985.
“Dear Lawrence, I come in peace.”
The rainbow colours are not just those of the gay lobby, but also of the peace movement.
It’s not the decorations but what’s under the skin that counts.
Lawrence Gonzi, “What a colourful tie”
Joseph Muscat, “Yes isn’t it. Michelle and I chose it together”
Lawrence Gonzi, “I can’t get my eyes off it. I think I’ll borrow the colour scheme for the Vision 2015 logo”
