One to watch: Robert and Nikita Talk Serious Stuff

Try not to talk through this, will you, honey.

Try not to talk through this, will you, honey.

OK, I made the mistake of promoting Robert Musumeci’s show a little late this week. So here’s advance notice on Monday’s edition, as advertised by Musumeci himself on Facebook.

He’s going to be discussing the hot issues of the day with a silly girl of 20 from Forum Zghazagh Laburisti. If he’s going to pick a 20-year-old, he could at least have an eloquent and intelligent one to make up for the lack of insight that comes from being 20.

Ah, but she has one of those bottoms he seems to like. Let’s hope she won’t be talking out of it on the night, like she talks out of it on Facebook and her rare ‘blog posts’ on timesofmalta.com.

Naive man meets idiotic girl – one to watch.

Robert MusumeciTALK jiddiskuti il- progett ta’ Hondoq ir- Rummien, id-decizjoni ta’ l- Awtorita tax- Xandir fil- konfront ta’ Bondi + u Norman Lowell kif ukoll l-istazzjonijiet tal- Partiti fost temi ohra. Mistiedna fil- programm, Nikita Alamango. Nhar it- Tnejn li gej fit-2030. SMASH TV.

Her life ‘experience’ to discuss such issues can be based on no more than 3, tops 4, years of realising that there is life beyond Barbie. I won’t say life beyond teen hormones, as the photo says it all.

    Musumeci has hit rock bottom.

  2. Dirk Urpani says:

you seem to like her ass, or seem a bit jealous that someone grabbed her ass and not yours :)….I doubt you can go any lower, than judging a person like this..but anyway everyone has hobbies :D Enjoy them :)

[Daphne – The consequences of grabbing my bottom were well known, Dirk, though I do have to point out that when I was Nikita’s age my bottom was a tidy six 6. Ask around.]

    • Alan says:

Dirk, you seem to be oblivious to the fact that a ‘public’ person is judged by his/her actions, be it in their official or private capacity. That’s not going low to judge. Nikita Alamango has provided a basis for being judged, and it speaks for itself. You must be a Miss Piggy fan too.

  3. JP Bonello says:

Rock bottom? That looks like a large white marshmallow to me.

  4. That was delightfully below the belt.

  5. David Buttigieg says:

But don’t Maltese parents THINK before naming their children?

Nothing to do with the topic I know but I just heard Shania (pronounced ‘Xenajjja’ in Maltese) being screamed in the street!

    Poor kids!

  6. Macduff says:

“An eloquent and intelligent one” from Forum Zghazagh Laburisti? Fat chance, Daphne.

Well she definitely looks Labour. I can tell people who support PL from miles away… It’s the way they dress, act, talk and reason things. I’m sure I’m not the only one in possession of this ‘gift’! And yes, it is a gift… Enables me to run as far away as possible!

I’m sorry but I don’t agree at all with this comment. I am from Qormi, lived there for 30 years surrounded by PN supporters, even from my own family. Their personal image, behaviour, reasoning is exactly the way you described the PL.

  8. woman from the south says:

Dear David, try screaming the name Stradivarius on Sliema front. This poor child was given this name becuase his mother (Sliema lazy corner) wanted him to have a special name. Does Nikita`s mother know that her name is a male name in Russia?

    • ciccio2010 says:

Woman, she made the same mistake Ken Russell did with Sir Elton’s famous song. Only that Elton would not have minded the mistake.

  9. david g says:

    What next – Marisa Micallef?

  10. Whoa, there! says:

Hmmmm…. 20 year olds have a vote too… With a relative majority of less than 2000 votes, I don’t think it’s good practice to scare off any social or demographic group, Daphne.

[Daphne – Believe me, 20-year-olds are quite capable of seeing Nikita Zammit Alamango for what she is. Indeed, they would be her strongest critics. I imagine you’re cut off from that demographic. I’m not.]

  11. Stephen borg Cardona says:

Topic for discussion: would the Hondoq project already have been approved had Robert Musumeci been the architect presenting the application?

    • ciccio2010 says:

Question for discussion: then why did Robert Musumeci not invite Astrid Vella to discuss Hondoq?

  12. keith lanzon says:

Nikita talks much better than you – you’re an old witch jealous for everyone hahahaah.

[Daphne – You must be very young and very stupid, my dear, if you think that being 45 makes a woman an old witch. And you are also very backward if you were raised to think of women as being in competition with one another. Misogyny does not make for progressive politics. Now run along and play.]

    il-piz qed thossu fuqha…

[Daphne – Nikita Zammit Alamango of the Labour Youth Forum: if she doesn’t vote Labour, who will. Nahseb minhabba l-VAT fuq il-computer kienet se ddahhal Sant bhala prim ministru. Hey Nikita, you might pay VAT on your computer, but at least you’ve got a stipend to buy one with, AND AN EU PASSPORT THAT SHOULD WIDEN YOUR HORIZONS BUT CLEARLY HASN’T. Tal-biki.]
