Talking to a woman is a waste of time unless you can get off with her

Take it from me, chaps. Talking to women is a waste of time unless you're in with a chance.

Take it from me, chaps. Talking to women is a waste of time unless you're in with a chance.

Michelle and Joseph met in 1995 – March 19 – at a Labour Youth Forum activity. She was there because she needed to interview someone for a university assignment. She recounts how she had met Joseph previously, tried talking to him, but he had cut the conversation short. “He was under the impression that I was going out with someone else so he felt that it was (in his own words) ‘no use wasting time on you,’” she laughed.

Michelle should learn to think before she speaks. She once reported on something her cousin had told her gynaecologist: “Mank ikolli twins bhal Michelle”.

In fact her cousin was pregnant with twins, as it seems that multiple births run in the family. She made the woman seem like the biggest copycat ever.

Another silly comment she made was that she is really annoyed at having to look elegant always as it is not acceptable in Malta to go out in casual garments. We saw Michelle Obama in shorts and she still looked great and it didn’t detract at all from her elegance.

Unwittingly din (or was it dik?) exposed her husband’s shallowness. He only turns the charm on for people he can use, or as in her case, get his rocks off with. Why invest time if you aren’t getting anything out of it, eh Joey?

I can’t understand why the Labour Party doesn’t have any proper financial people on board. Its shadow minister for finance is a notary. This does not inspire confidence.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

They have a whole team of financial experts: Prof. Edward Scicluna (the family genius), Marlene Mizzi, several “enterprising businessmen” [Surely ‘businesspersons’, Ed.], and Joseph Muscat himself, who has successfully milked the system with breathtaking effrontery. Isn’t that what finance is about – making a big pile of money?

    • orion says:

Dr George Bonello Du Puis was a notary, and Mario Felice was a lawyer. Both were ministers of finance.

      • A.Charles says:

Bonello Du Puis and Felice were always surrounded by experts in finance and they usually gave very sound advice.

  6. red nose says:

Davidg – Bonello du Puis, a PN finance minister, was a notary as well.
