    I was going to email you just now.

    Thank you for that post (last Thursday’s). I can assure you that today the election was a success due to that. People whom I had never seen vote came out in droves to do just that.

    So they did not manage to turn the Chamber of Advocates into another Institute of Maltese Journalists. I suppose lawyers are a harder nut to crack than the self-glorified reporters who pass for journalists here.

    I heard that a number of pre-diluvian lawyers, thought to have been extinct, appeared out of the woodwork to cast their vote. Well done to all involved. The threat is thwarted. The wheels remain in place. Lilliput is saved.
