I was going to email you just now.
Thank you for that post (last Thursday’s). I can assure you that today the election was a success due to that. People whom I had never seen vote came out in droves to do just that.
Ah, the pen is mightier than the sword.
What’s the point?
the point of what?
Who was/will be chosen as president of the chamber?
Yet to be seen….that’s an internal election…..
So they did not manage to turn the Chamber of Advocates into another Institute of Maltese Journalists. I suppose lawyers are a harder nut to crack than the self-glorified reporters who pass for journalists here.
It’s just a matter of time really….
Good luck to the new elected members. Good news – very good news that those mentioned in the heading were not elected
It’s just until they polish their PR machine a bit more….just a matter of time really….
Not even Wastserv needs them.
I heard that a number of pre-diluvian lawyers, thought to have been extinct, appeared out of the woodwork to cast their vote. Well done to all involved. The threat is thwarted. The wheels remain in place. Lilliput is saved.
[Daphne – Oh, did brother-in-law Andy run crying to you, Kev? Foiled by the Bidnija Witch (cackling sound in the distance).]
Well Kev, what can I tell you? It must have been a hell of a conspiracy, but you shouldn’t take it badly: you just love conspiracies after all.
Oh, don’t tell me – we haven’t slept a wink since. The Bidnija victory has totally wrecked our plans. No wonder Bidnija is the centre of the world.
Antoine, qed nghidlek, you’re even starting to sound wise.
