Reuters reports that NATO will now take over from the United States command of all allied military operations in Libya “after days of sometimes heated wrangling” with Turkey.
“Compromise has been reached in principle in a very short time,” Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters in Ankara. “The operation will be handed over to NATO completely.”
The deal came after a four-way telephone conference between U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the foreign ministers of Turkey, France and Britain.

The Arab League should have taken over considering they are truly brethren of the whole Arab world. Instead they broke away claiming some excuse.
All loose ends are falling into place.
Tayyip Erdogan is another member of the Gaddafi human rights prize hall of fame.

The picture that is at present being presented, I feel, in all honesty that Malta needs “URGENTLY” to consult on how to deal with complicated politics such as the present. We had and still have good politicians, but they are more or less like our neighbours, the Italians, who I think find the present situation slippery. I think Gonzi should consult Cameron more frequently.
