I’d like to know what that character John Dalli has to say about this report. Shame, shame shame. How can decent people stand and do nothing in the face of this tragedy ?
I have so-called friends with interests in Libya who are actually still hoping that Gaddafi survives. As far as I am concerned I do not need those type of friends.
I wish Tonio Borg a few sleepless nights if he has the guts to watch this film.
The biggest certificate ever to the uselessness and ineffectiveness of Barack Obama, the UN, NATO, the EU , and all the politicians, including Maltese, who for the past two months talked and talked, and talked a bit more…and accomplished absolutely nothing.
The Tonio Borgs of this world who wanted to see “how the situation would develop”, when it was pretty obvious to anybody with the slightest bit of common sense what would happen, should hide their face in shame.
And to all those who condemned Bush and Blair for going after Saddam Hussein in Iraq, see for yourself what happens when you treat a murderous dictator with kid gloves, and little else but useless babble. If Reagan were still alive, Gaddafi would have been reduced to ashes weeks ago, and thousands of lives would have been saved.
The blood of all those killed should stain the conscience of those who had the power and responsibility to handle Gaddafi as he should have been handled, and did f*** all about it.
I guess it all points to a general attitude of indifference. Doing what is right is a blurred line in politics. Shame …. politicians are well used to spin it off through arguments and leather faces. Well done Daphne, A woman with balls. U have my vote.
Meantime, in Malta we focus on the pressing big issues of our time. Yawn. If the referendum fails, we’re going to have another 20 years of this rubbish.
How can people still support this monster? I cried watching this video. No child should have to go through what the kids in Libya are going through. The only wish I have, is that in the end, one more country will be free.
Also when watching the video, I couldn’t help feeling an immense sense of admiration for the fighters. What guts and bravery. The man who didn’t return to Manchester to fight for freedom in his homeland, and the doctor learning new skills to help the injured make you realise that there really are good people out there too.
Gadaffi is not just killink people of his country but is defending himself against his opponents. Thet started the revolt using weapons. What do you thing Gaddafi should have done. Gathering his personal things and say OK BOYS I AM Going away since you don’t want me. I have given you free schooling, compulsary schooling, free hospitalisation, free University, I kept something for myself and my family. So Let me go quietly and enjoy ma amassed millions. But who wantsme. I could lodge in Malta at a small village at Bidnijja with the lady DCG. She will surely welcome me. Am I not a dog, she likes dogs so I will be in good company. I have millions she can partake some and become worlkd renowned if not the summit of journalists. She could issue a world gazzette with all sorts of news she knows how to gother them; she could also go on some private “private!” mission such as the one in Israel. She will get the prize for journalists. she is worthy of something like that. She is able to give anickname to every dick, Tom and Harry. She will beinvited to address culktural and political meetings she might preach peace and vie for the Peace Price and be receivedwith red carpets along Oslo. Readingthis shemight challenge the toad that wanted to inflate and be as fat as a bull. tired to write about her….

Immediately I saw this snippet, I had the same thoughts as Zorro and his friends.

Reminds one of a young man called Dominic Mintoff.
They were friends. Still are, apparently, but they never meet.
As a human and parent, this news report is terrifying.
How can we show it to those hypocrites who still believe in Gaddafi?
