Jeffrey the Jesus freak
Here’s another middle-aged politician who should not be permitted near Facebook without careful supervision:
Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, who actually thinks he has made a success of his life (how?) has uploaded a holy picture showing a Nordic Jesus Christ, accompanied by some of Jeffrey’s words of wisdom:
It is only the bitter, the bored and cowards who are cruel. Historically true heroes have always been associated with humanity and compassion.
Bitterness towards and hatred for his wife, the mother of his four children and the woman who still bears his name, were by his own admission strong motivational forces in his drive to push the divorce bill through.
By a happy coincidence – for him – his bitterness towards his wife coincided with his bitterness towards, and contempt for, the prime minister, which helped him give it an even bigger push.
Malta has divorce because Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando was overcome by bitterness towards his wife and his party leader. It’s a shame it had to happen like that.
It is that same bitterness and hatred for his wife which, I suspect, are keeping Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando from crossing to his natural home in Joseph Muscat’s skip.
There is no way on earth he is going to be able to share a skip with Marlene.

Malta has divorce because Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando was bold enough to shake the boat, full stop.
[Daphne – Boldness had nothing to do with it, Kevin. Bitterness and hatred did.]
Kev, it is not ‘shake’ the boat; it is ‘rock’ the boat.
No Bus Driver. The boat started to rock only when Joseph Muscat hopped on board.
No Kev.
Actually Joseph hopped on the divorce boat and jumped back on ‘terra ferma’.
When JPO started to rock the boat again Joseph road piggy-back on JPO, with a bit of pushing from Evarist.
John Schembri, did you witness the actual scene? Any photos?
You lost the argument, now you’re trying to ridicule the whole thing, as your last ‘weapon’.
Kev, did you?
Daph, bitterness and hatred could have easily driven JPO to get divorce abroad. So yes he was “bold enough to shake the boat”.
[Daphne – No, he couldn’t ‘get a divorce abroad’. He is not the citizen of any state other than Malta, and there is no way on earth he could have taken up residence elsewhere for the required length of time – residence, that is, not an extended holiday – when his dental practice and his income are in Malta. That bit about registering on his daughter’s flat in London was rubbish. The minute you register as resident in Britain, you have all sorts of issues – tax, etc.]
And someone with his money can get through all these “issues” especially if he is motivated by “bitterness and hatred”
Can you divorce a broad?
OK, I’ll get me coat.
@ Frans:
“And someone with his money can get through all these “issues””.
Oh right. He could always bribe David Cameron.
Can we get back to the real world, now?
JPO thinks he has a great mind.
From his FB page:
About Jeffrey: great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.
This makes an interesting read: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2033327/MI6-British-Government-worked-closely-Gaddafis-regime-helped-write-speeches.html
Daph, I cannot find your Thursday column – did you post it here?

” Malta has divorce because Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando was overcome by bitterness towards his wife and his party leader” – consequentialism
The reason “Malta has divorce because Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando was overcome by bitterness towards his wife and his party leader” is because no other politician in favour of divorce had the guts to stick out his or her head and get the party started.
Somebody please explain to Jeffrey that this is what a true hero is:

And this is true humanity and compassion

Are the people ready to boot him out of parliament coming next election? Would they reward his disgraceful behaviour towards the prime minister?
Are the people prepared to teach him a lesson? Let’s hope his political days are numbered.
The ship is sinking. Hope you have a lifesaving boat.D.hahahah .cheers Daphne
