Eye surgeon Franco Mercieca with Labour leader Joseph Muscat: there’s no doubt at all who’ll be allowed to do a spot of queue-barging post 2013.

Wonder how the stubble was transferred.
Ugh.
Joseph Muscat + eyebrows. Uncanny.
Then they call others blue-eyed boys.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But which is which?

Daphne, why does everyone keep saying that the election is in two years time? In March 2013 (i.e. in almost 17 months) the Nationalists would have been in power for five years. As I see it, in one year, we’d be in full election mode, with elections called probably in March.
[Daphne – Not me, Mario. You will have noted by now that I repeat the point that it’s 18 months.]
Daphne, ma nafx kif ma jistiehx wicchom. L-istess ghadhom, ma jriedux jitaghlmu. L-istorja tirrepetti ruha.
Wara dawn is-snin kollha fl-oppozizzjoni daqshekk ghatxana ghall-poter. Min jaf x’ser jaghmlu jekk jitilghu fil-gvern. Mur oqghod bihom (u bil-klikek). Mur ara l-ARROGANZA.
Arroganti issa., ahseb u ara meta ikunu f’ Kastilja. Kif ha jaraw lil kullhadd bebbux.
[Daphne – BAbbux, with an English A sound that is peculiar to the dialect. Remember that he grew up down the road from where I live.]
As Josephine Muscat might put it, at least Franco Mercieca is a “dignant person”. Take that Daphne Caruana Galizia!

It is clear that GC are in the wrong while lying and throwing mud to the face of an individual who just wish to perform his duties as usual.
It is about time that we hear what GC has to say following the publication of the application for the priority pass and its rejection on francomercieca.com – WE WAIT YOUR REPLY and ASK FOR THE CHAIRMAN RESIGNATION AS HE IS NOT A DIGNANT PERSON TO HOLD THIS POSITION – SO MOVE OUT
Din jaqaw taghmel il-proof reading tal-artikli tal-Mlatasart?
Tistenna fil QUEUE ikollok tibqa bhal PL……
“Not dignant” – “Mhux deghen / deghnjat”?
March 2013 – the beginning of a new era. Dr. Joseph Muscat Prime Minister of Malta.
Gonzi kicked out from leadership. Is there any talent available to take over the role of leader of the opposition? Lets go for Giovanna. Or the new economic guru – Dr. Fenech. Xtahseb Daphne fuq is successur to Gonzi – are you pro Dr. Borg………My choise is someone from outside – Eilen Montesin. Ex PN
[Daphne – Actually, Ray, the more pressing concern is whether there’s any talent in the imminently incoming Labour government, don’t you think?]
Ray Azzopardi, John Bundy,.Joe Cuschieri, Cyrus, Charlon, Karmenu Vella, AST, Maria Camilleri, Norman Hamiltion, Jason, Joe Grima, the Herreras, Toni Abela, mela dawn mhux telint?
Actually Raymond Spiteri, if I were you I would not worry too much.
First of all, Labour has to win. Secondly, there is plenty of talent which can fill in for leadership SHOULD Dr. Gonzi decide to retire.
But don’t hold your breath.
On the other hand, Labour is already rudderless because Joey is no leadership material and this is precisely what’s eating your guts.
Nationalist MPs outperform your wannabes anytime, anywhere. The current cabinet’s average age is half what the proposed Labour government cabinet would look like.
Joseph Muscat has brought in people who are long in the tooth and who carry heavy baggage from the 70s – and besides, Karmenu Vella will be completely exhausted after completing the Labour election programme just one week before the election (in case the caretaker government ‘steals’ one of his amazing ideas).
I believe Joseph’s first act as PM will be to install oxygen tanks at the newly completed house of parliament, to make sure his ageing cabinet can stay in their seats without passing out.
All the exes have found their rightful place and have been captured by Joseph’s Venus trap. They are being digested and on their way to the new sewage treatment plants.
Stick to worrying about spelling and selecting your next choiSe of leader after Joseph becomes a one-line history aberration, like the man before him.
I am sure there is enough talent within PL, the likes of Dr. Schembri, Dr. Mangion, Perit Vella, Dr. Gulia, Coleiro Preca will deliver more then the current ministers and par seg. Too much arrogance leading Austin Gatt etc. They need to re group and I am sure deep inside you agree and convinced this will happen. We had so much fake promises prior last election and Dr. Gonzi was not able to delivery – all the excuses regarding financial crises etc. I am going to trY PL.
Ex PN
[Daphne – No, Ray, I don’t agree. And there’s never any difference between what I think, deep inside or otherwise, and what I write or say, except when it is incumbent on me to be polite or discreet, in which case I will say or write nothing at all.]
Ray, you forget Anglu Farrugia, Silvio Parnis, Joe Debono Grech, Jason Micallef. These are all great minds.
Dr.Schembri?
@Jozef
He must mean their latest acquisition, Dr. Deborah. Funny he should start with this lady, she must be really something.
TWO HALF MEN
Oj, oj….how dare you forget that Bedingfield guy? Perhaps he needs some polishing…but he’s got talent!
Make that ageing in an oak barrel.
