  1. Brian says:

Oh, piss off …please. It ain’t a pretty please, mind you.

  2. Dee says:

So Joseph wants the soldiers of steal from the ‘mortal sin’ years.

It’s back to the golden era then. So much for being progressive.

    • john says:

‘soldiers of steal’. I like it.

      • Edward Caruana Galizia says:

Personally I don’t like the use of war imagry in political speeches. Sounds far too disturbing.

      • john says:

        It’s steAl, Edward – steAl.

      • Carmelo Micallef says:

The ‘soldiers of steel’ of the ‘Golden Years’ of Mintoff/KMB: the most recent use of the term was by Sammy Meilak when urging bus drivers to militancy in 2009. Of course, it really dates back to the ‘Nazi’ (National Socialist) period.

Say anything – do anything – just get elected…. then do what you want …. very National Socialist ….Little Joe and the Dinosaurs

      • Edward Caruana Galizia says:

@John: Hahaha, I get it now. I guess it just doesn’t have the same effect when typed.

  3. Grezz says:

There he goes again, with the fakeness and brashness of an American bible-basher on some religious TV channel.

  4. Edward Caruana Galizia says:

Dr Muscat: Back in the day of the “mortal sin” – the height of the Cold War – the PL was a COMMUNIST PARTY and Communism then was like the Taliban now – the biggest threat to democracy on the planet.

Complain all you like, lie till the cows come home, those who have more than just a pea for a brain will never believe you.

Just to clarify: When he said “give their lives” did he mean to dedicate their lives, or is he asking for some suicide missions?

    • Carmelo Micallef says:

He is referring to their votes – equating to their lives – in reality their lives are irrelevant to him beyond this simple act of voting

    • Edward Caruana Galizia says:

Personally I don’t see how “Lives” can mean “votes”. In fact…..I doubt it does. I guess he’s calling on all PL supporters to act as ambassadors to the Party. Still doesn’t sit well with me.

  5. Jozef says:

    Mossi, muttetti w ingravati.

  6. Rita Camilleri says:

Daphne – why oh why are you tormenting us with these video clips? This man is a fake, a wannabe and poor us – we will be lumped with him for god knows how many years – poor poor Malta.

    • Carmelo Micallef says:

      Vote against him.

      Speak against him.

Discuss and argue at every opportunity for what you believe to be right as against his wrong position

We must push for every last vote against this cynical and sinister Labour election campaign

1971/87 were not Malta’s’Golden Years’ …. never, never, never!
