Criminals who break the law and then use that same law to their advantage

Wanted for war crimes themselves, they have filed a complaint against NATO

Isn’t it just typical of this kind of person? The Gaddafi family ignored and violated human rights and international law for decades. But now that they can make use of those laws to their advantage, they’re going to do so.

Muammar Gaddafi’s widow, daughter and remaining sons have engaged a French lawyer and are going to file a war crimes complaint against NATO with the International Criminal Court, for the part NATO is supposed to have played in his death.

    That’s absurd.
It’s like someone who has been stealing and using private documents suddenly complaining that he was hacked.

  2. I’m sure they can afford the French lawyer. Are those false teeth, Jeff?

As the Italians say: Adesso viene il bello.

This is what former C.I.A director Michael Hayden had to say:

“If Libya is left to its own devices, it is not difficult to conceive of it becoming Somalia on the Mediterranean, an ungoverned space threatening the heart of Europe as well as critical international lines of communication”.

Does this mean that we will soon be having the USA as our neighbour?

Is this the price that Libya has to pay for the help they got to rid them of Gaddafi?

Doesn’t Saif have an international arrest warrant on his head? As soon as he steps in the west he will be arrested. End of story. He is lucky he survived up to now.

Doesn’t everyone including and especially hardened criminals use the law to his own advantage?

Criminals exploit loopholes in the legal system, make false accusations against their accusors and sometimes they are even encouraged by the police to file reports aganist their victims.

On the other hand international law should apply to everyone and if NATO or any Western nation breached the law, they should be held responsible as much as Gaddafi or his family or officials should for breach of the law.

Thought you would come up with something better, Baxxter.
