First the Malta Council of Science & Technology chief, now the chief of Labour's Business Forum

Too many people are losing it on Facebook. I guess the information hasn’t reached Malta yet that, as with anything else in life, your use of Facebook should be different according to your age, situation and role in life.

People aged 50+ who are politicians and have public roles should behave more than a little bit differently on Facebook from 15-year-old girls and boys.

Look what the chief of the Labour Party’s Business Forum – which has suffocated along with LGBT Labour as far as I can make out – has been up to recently. And bear in mind that the man in the shark’s jaw, her husband, is a magistrate.

Shouldn’t she have left these in the family album?

And no, they weren’t ‘stolen’ or ‘hecked’, because Labour’s Business Forum chief has her Facebook profile, wall and photos open to the world.

You know, just in case an investor interested in doing business under Labour decides to look her up and find a picture of the Business Chief eating a cream bun, gambling at a one-armed bandit, or posing with her latest auction acquisition.

She must have got an another extension to the due date of her dissertation on corporate governance. And I thought she could multitask.

    • Harry Purdie says:

Recent research indicates that multi-tasking results in a lack of attention, focus and a low level of academic achievement.

This is very serious. Joseph Muscat actually cast asperions last night on televison on people of very good repute: that they leaked emails to the Torca/Labour Party.

Obviously, they have reacted. The Super One reporter in him comes to the fore every time: allegations without foundation.

He doesn’t understand that as the Leader of the Opposition and the next Prime Minister he has got to behave responsibly.

    Gawd, I hate “touristy” snaps.

I hate theme parks and stupid photos.

I mean, what is the value of having your photo taken while posing in a fake shark’s jaw?

    Uuuughh.

“posing with her latest auction acquisition” – it’s a nice gilded frame which can fit a small mirror for a plastic-covered sofa room. She has taste.

I was only joking – when we’re abroad we like sharing with others our ‘adventures’, but my circle of friends is kept for myself.

Is that the former chairperson of SeaMalta?

I can’t help noticing the woman sitting next to Marlene in front of the slot machines, with her identity publicised in breach of the Data Protection Act.

  10. Authentic Louis Vuitton.

I mean, a Louis Vuitton bag with an m&m’s T-shirt. How about that for the style of a leading businesswoman and a “mara ta’ success”?

  11. Dee says:

    Who does her Botox injections?

  12. Grezz says:

Wearing an M&Ms T-shirt, and tucked into her “shorts”…..

Would Marlene Mizzi go out dressed like that in Malta?

  13. Facebooker says:

    What next, photos in Eurodisney?

  14. Hot Mama says:

Damn, why did she have to wear LV? Why didn’t she stick to Burberry?
