Mad Jeff, chairman of the Malta Council of Science and Technology, continues to incite the rabble

Published: October 19, 2011 at 9:08am

Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando called the police when a man posted a threatening comment about him on Facebook. Now look at just three of the comments on his Facebook wall.

David Scicluna

The PN should bring back Joe Saliba. With him in charge no-one ever dared to go against the party’s principles and rules.

Scicluna and Galea – The pen is mightier than the sword!!

So Jeffrey called the police, did he? Careful, Jeff. They might call you in for questioning regarding all the racist comments (including your own) on your Facebook wall.

  5. Guza says:

Jeffrey should be ashamed of himself at inciting the Labour scum he himself fought so hard to get rid of in the “glorious” days of Labour.

Where are his principles? Or did he never have any in the first place?

  6. John II says:

JPO’s behaviour is completely unbecoming of the position he holds.

It is a shame that the Nationalist Party and parliament – through the Speaker of the House – do not severely reprimand him.

Regretfully the LP are taking full advantage of his silly shenanigans while the NP administration seem to have no backbone. There is no place in politics for Facebook and the silly ill-informed comments that come along with it.

Like the judiciary, members of parliament ought to follow a very rigid code of ethics. Alas, it seems as if all is acceptable in our little island. Why is it that we have to settle for the lowest common denominator.

The Maltese deserve better than this.

His behaviour is inciting the scum of our society, and he should be held to account for what he is doing.

I cannot think of any reason why the Nationalist Party administration is not disciplining these mavericks, including Franco Debono and Jesmond Mugliett, also fall into this category, albeit they have not fallen to the depths that JPO has.

If disciplining them results in an early election, so be it.

Anyway the LP will be in government come 18 months. They are not prepared for it now, and they will not be prepared in 18 months. We might as well start as soon as possible on those five years of Labour and get them out of the way.

In the meantime the Nationalist Party can start ridding itself of this trash.

That said I am comfortably living away from the island.

I shudder to think of me and my family in Malta with a government run by this bunch of amateurs.

This statement by David Scicluna is surely criminal and a threat to your life: “mela l-ahjar naghmlulha kif ghamlu lil San Gwann u nehilsu mit-tnejn f`daqqa.”

Is that posted on the Facebook of a liberal MP and Chairman of MCST?

In democratic countries, this would lead to the immediate resignation of the MP and the Chairman of MCST.

  8. Gakku says:

Funny how they use Catholic saints as examples for not very Catholic thoughts.

Scicluna u Galea ahjar ma jiktbux bil-Malti, imma. X’dizastru!

  11. Stephen Forster says:

I just wish the PN would deselect them both, throw them out, call an election and get it over with.

Lose/win whatever, start again with a clean slate and rebuild the party.

This is just becoming ridiculous and seems to be “death by a thousand cuts”.

Why is Dr Debono asking for Austin Gatt’s resignation?

Because Gatt’s right-hand man is the hard-working Manuel Delia, who is contesting the next elections on the same district as Debono.

Debono will do his damn best to eliminate ALL competition, even candidates from his own party.

The problem is that in that district – the fifth – we have no one to talk to about constituents’ problems. Ninu Zammit is now old and keeping quiet, Helen Damato is the Children’s Commissioner and Louis is an auditor in the EC, so we’re left with this power hungry spoilt brat.

I’d rather vote for il-Guy, at least he knows how to smile.

Wasn’t Debono boasting about cutting Louis Galea out of the race in the last elections?
