“Being in politics myself, I can appreciate a film plot about politics”

Forgive me for distracting you from the Budget speech, but look at this. Honestly.

Aaron Farrugia (Labour’s policy ideas think-tank chief) on Facebook:

Just watched Ides of March with gosling and clooney. Being in politics myself I can appreciate the story and the plot.

In The Ides of March, which was adapted from a play called Farragut North, George Clooney plays Governor Mike Morris, a US presidential candidate who becomes embroiled in a sex scandal.

Is there something Aaron Farrugia should be telling us? Or perhaps not.
